Top 18% among our own industry rated by EcoVadis

Our sustainability strategies and practices are among the top 35% of companies evaluated by EcoVadis, which includes more than 100,000 companies. We reached in the top 18% of companies rated by EcoVadis in the Manufacture of parts and accessories for motor vehicles industry and the top 9% in the sustainable procurement section.

The evaluated categories were labor and human rights, environment, sustainable procurement and ethics.

We know our responsibility as a company for the climate and as an employer. We use EcoVadis’ corporate responsibility classification as part of our sustainable development program.

Top 26 % company in EcoVadis benchmarking

We know our responsibility as a company for the climate and as an employer for labor. Our goal is to improve methods of operation furthermore with data and hard work.

We decided to include EcoVadis in our sustainability program to benchmark what we have already done and where we have to improve.

Our sustainability strategy and way of working is within top 26 % of companies rated by EcoVadis, which includes over 100 000 companies.

The evaluated categories were labor and human rights, environment, sustainable procurement and ethics.

With this recognition we know SV-SHOCKS hard work has been recognized and it confirms that we are on the right track, but there’s still lots to do to achieve our responsibility and sustainability goals.

SV-Shocks has introduced new intelligent pump unit for axle lifting shock absorbers

The new AXLS-H-UNIT10 pump unit from SV-Shocks is designed based on market demand to provide the longest lifetime and durability. The new pump uses a 0,3kW motor in order to have smoother axle lifting and much easier installation. The pump includes an intelligent controller with built-in diagnostics for safe and smooth use.

  • Ideal for 6×2, 6×4 or 8×4 applications such as tippers, timber trucks and other vehicles that often run unladen in one direction, reducing fuel consumption.
  • Enables reduced tyre wear as well as a tighter turning radius and max load transfer for greater traction when unladen.
  • Smoother lifting and easier installation.

We here at SV-Shocks understand that all equipment on a vehicle needs to function properly in order for an operation to be successful, which is why we developed the AXLS-H-UNIT10. We want drivers to be able to rely on the brand they know and trust to function no matter where they are driving.

This is a highly desired system for customers in certain applications, and we are pleased to announce this very intelligent solution. When unladen, the difference in fuel consumption can be large. That is substantial, especially when considering a return leg of hundreds of kilometres, as is often the case with many trucks. Saving fuel is very positive also from environmental perspective. On top of that, you also get less tyre wear and increased manoeuvrability.

We expect that this option will be included in many truck specifications and is already used in OEM applications. The added cost will rapidly be compensated given the obvious and highly positive contribution to total operating economy.
